Review: DVD Special Features Review (September 2010)
Is it any surprise that the special features on the DVD for “Sleepwalkers” are just as crappy as the actual movie itself? No, no it is not. The “special features” on this DVD include an option between viewing this Oscar winner in either Widescreen or Fullscreen. There is a “Talent Files” feature where you can view biographies and filmographies of some of the actors and actresses. There is also a mini biography of Stephen King which includes an abbreviated list of his written works, unfortunately abbreviated to include only those works that were turned into films. And of course, no DVD special features section is complete without the option for subtitles in fucking Thai. Seriously. It’s bad enough North Americans had to suffer through this film, do we really want to expose Asian audiences to it?
